We offer training opportunities for athletes of all ages, abilities and motivations, as well as high-level coaching for the most ambitious athletes. In addition, we pay particular attention to the physical and mental development of younger athletes. More specifically, we offer:   <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>training and supervision by qualified and experienced coaches;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>year-round training, including during school vacations;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the opportunity to take part in competitions, accompanied by our coaches;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>insurance and race number included in an annual <u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rrcb-athletisme.be\/en\/contribution\/\">annual fee<\/a><\/u> annual fee;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a sliding-scale fee for families.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"apercu\">Sports Policy<\/h2>\n\n<p>Read our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rrcb-athletisme.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/2026-RRCB-ROI.pdf\">RRCB sports policy<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"apercu\">Overview of training options<\/h2>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>General training<\/em><\/h3>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>This type of training is aimed particularly at children and young people aged 6 to 18 (kangaroos to schoolchildren), but can also benefit athletes in the junior, senior and masters categories.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The youngest children (kangaroos, benjamin(e)s, pupilles, minimes) are introduced to the different disciplines of athletics in a fun way.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>General training takes place on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays; <u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rrcb-athletisme.be\/en\/schedule\/\">consult the Timetable page<\/a><\/u> page for category times.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>Specific training<\/em><\/h3>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>From the minimes category onwards, we also offer specialized coaching in one or more specific disciplines, taking into account the athlete&#8217;s interests, potential and motivation. In principle, this specialization is continued and reinforced in the cadet and schoolboy categories, leading to a definitive choice in the junior, senior and masters categories. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For specific training times : <u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rrcb-athletisme.be\/en\/schedule\/\">consult the Timetable page<\/a><\/u>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"competitions\">Participation in competitions<\/h2>\n\n<p>If you wish to take part in the competitions, you must comply with the following formalities:<\/p>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>have paid the membership fee for the season; this is the condition for receiving a race number from the secretary&#8217;s office (lead time = ten days). No bibs will be issued to members who have not paid their membership fees! <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>have submitted, when requesting your race number, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rrcb-athletisme.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/Attestation-sur-lhonneur.docx\">declaration on honour<\/a> duly completed and signed;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>for benjamins, pupilles and minimes: please wear the club jersey; for cadets to masters: the official club jersey must be worn;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>for national and regional championships, give two weeks&#8217; notice to the secretary or president, who will register you with the league.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p>The club cannot be held responsible if these obligations are not fulfilled on time.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"categories\">Athlete categories<\/h2>\n\n<p>An athlete&#8217;s category is defined on the basis of his\/her year of birth.
